About the brand:
Bamboleira is a Colombian brand founded in 2015 by Natalia Sanchez. She works closely with the indigenous Wounaan community from Chocó, who were displaced by the civil war in 2003 and have since lived in Bogotá. Thanks to Bamboleira, many women in this community have been able to find new opportunities and preserve their handicrafts.
All jewelry is handcrafted, many using delicate threads from the Werregue palm, individually dyed and lovingly crafted. Each piece is unique, embodying the story, strength, and creativity of these women.
